“Super location”

5 stars – Reviewed 13 June for a stay in June 2016 Click here to see our latest TripAdvisor review or read on! “Bamburgh Barn has a superb setting, you can literally sit on the sofa and gaze out at the castle which is stunningly located right opposite. The castle green is just over the road and is fabulous for a game of rounders or cricket etc,. The beach is a short walk away and is huge and great fun for all. The property itself is very clean and well presented, plenty of space and very nicely kitted out, good info provided etc etc. It’s a great house and a superbly interesting area with appeal for a vast array of interests, there are many places to visit within a reasonable distance. Go visit!”

Heading towards 100

Dear All, We are excited to announce that we have accepted more than 90 bookings since we opened for business on 26 July 2014! We’ve had people stay from all over the UK and beyond, celebrating a number of very special occasions including weddings (at Bamburgh Castle), honeymoons, mini moons, 40th, 60th and 70th birthdays. We’ve welcomed groups of friends that meet up just once a year in Bamburgh to catch up and hosted many young families with the grandparents in tow. We would like to thank all of our previous guests for choosing Bamburgh Barn.  Your positive feedback has rocketed us from a standing start to Trip Advisor’s highest rated 3-bedroom Holiday Home in Bamburgh.  33 5-star reviews as of 1 June 2016. To celebrate our upcoming milestone, we have decided to provide a surprise gift to the person who makes the 100th booking!  We we won’t tell you exactly how far away we are from reaching our 100th booking but what we can say is that it’s more than 3 but less than 10 away! When that booking is made, we will let you know (and of course, let the lucky booker know too)! So, keep ’em peeled With warm wishes,

“Perfect place to stay in Bamburgh with wonderful views”

5 stars – Reviewed May 30 for a stay in May 2016 Click here to see it on Trip Advisor or read on! “We stayed here for 3 nights in the middle of May. The place was immaculate for our arrival and is in such a great location in the middle of Bamburgh, with stunning views of the castle from lounge and garden. The kitchen and open plan sitting room is very light and spacious and has three sets of patio doors which lead out to the garden. There are three bedrooms all with en suites which are all decorated to a very high standard. It takes a few minutes to stroll over to the park in front of the castle and then down to the beach which is lovely and stretches for miles. The barn’s location means it is a great base for exploring the surrounding area.  We stayed here with our one year old son, and it was absolutely perfect. Happy baby = happy mummy and daddy!  We were lucky enough to have great weather, and the garden of the barn was a lovely sunny spot. The barn is extremely well equipped. I would say it is a home from home, […]
